Imperial General Assurance Company Limited has paid a Contractors All Risk (CAR) Policy claim of GH¢ 660,647.50 to the International China Henan Cooperation Group, contractors of the Sissai River Drain Extension Project in Kumasi.

Part of the contract work which was fully insured by Imperial General Assurance included the construction of a drainage which got damaged by floodwater in Kumasi after a heavy downpour.

The acting Managing Director of Imperial General Assurance, Mr. Robert Wugah, presented the cheque to the Managing Director of the China Henan International Cooperation Group. He said the payment was part of about GH¢ 4 million legitimate claims paid as at the 3rd quarter 2020.

He also used the occasion to reiterate the company’s commitment to live by its vision to be noted for excellence in the provision of insurance services in Ghana.

Mr. Wugah said Imperial General Assurance has lived by its cardinal objective of paying legitimate claims promptly over the years. He advised existing  and prospective customers to visit any of the company’s offices in Accra, Kumasi, Tema, Takoradi, Spintex, Dawhenya and other contact/agency offices across  the country for hustle-free insurance needs backed with excellent customer service experience.

He was accompanied by Mr. Reginald Oklah, Head of Sales and Marketing of the company.

On his part, the Managing Director of the China Henan International Cooperation Group, Mr. Chen Qianqian, thanked Imperial General Assurance for the prompt settlement of the claim.  The settlement, he believes, will enable them go back to site and complete the project within schedule.
