Imperial General Assurance Company Limited, has paid a Contractors All Risk (CAR) Policy claim of GH¢ 660,647.50 to International China Henan Cooperation Group, the contractors of Sissai River Drain Extension Project in Kumasi. Part of the contract work which was fully insured by Imperial General Assurance included the construction of a drainage, which got damaged during recent flooding in Kumasi after a heavy downpour. The acting Managing Director of the insurance company, Mr Robert Wugah, who presented the cheque to the Managing Director of China Henan International Cooperation Group, said the payment is part of about GH¢ 4million legitimate claims paid as at the 3rd quarter 2020. He also used the occasion to reiterate that Imperial General Assurance is poised to live by its vision a to be noted for excellence in the provision of insurance services in
Ghana”. He was accompanied by Reginald Oklah, Head of Sales and Marketing of the company. Mr Wugah said the company has constantly lived by its cardinal objective of paying legitimate claims promptly over the years. He, therefore, advised existing customers and prospective ones to visit any of the Imperial General Assurance offices in Accra, Kumasi, Tema, Takoradi, Spintex, Dawhenya and many other contact/agency offices all over the country for a hustle-free insurance needs backed with excellent customer services experience. On his part, the Managing Director of China Henan International Cooperation Group, Mr Chen Qianqian, thanked Imperial General Assurance for the prompt settlement of the claim, which he believes, will enable them go back to site and complete the contract within schedule.
