Harry E.B. Ofori-Attah brings with him 20 years of extensive and diverse experience across the entire insurance value chain, enabling him to expertly manage clients’ needs, analyze business challenges, and develop tailored solutions.
He began his career in 2004 as a Client Relations Executive at Crown Insurance Brokers. In 2008, he joined Enterprise Insurance as a Senior Client Relations Executive for the Corporate Workgroup, where he rose through various roles, including overseeing branch operations in Takoradi until 2016. In 2017, Harry became Senior Manager for Corporate Business, Business Retention, and Specialist Business, where he was pivotal in underwriting Enterprise’s first aviation risk and leading the company’s innovation efforts. He also held the position of Senior Manager for Corporate Business at Enterprise Life, focusing on institutional clients, including brokers and banks.
Before becoming Managing Director at Imperial General, Harry was the company’s Deputy Managing Director, where he played a crucial role in shaping its strategic direction. From April 2, 2024, he served as Acting Managing Director, steering the company through a critical transition while ensuring business growth and stability.
A Chartered Insurer, Harry holds the Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP) designation from the Insurance Institute of Canada and is a Fellow of the Chartered Insurance Institute of Ghana (FCIIG). He earned a BSc in Natural Resources Management from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), a Law degree from GIMPA, and an Executive MBA in Management from KNUST. Harry is also a graduate of the University of Stellenbosch Leadership Development Program in South Africa and the Swiss Re Academy, where he specialized in Engineering and Marine Cargo underwriting.
A visionary leader and a blue ocean thinker, Harry is passionate about innovation, strategic thinking, business retention, and developing future leaders. Since 2008, he has shared his expertise as an adjunct lecturer at the Ghana Insurance College. Outside of his professional life, Harry is an avid Manchester United fan, enjoys playing soccer and tennis, and is an enthusiastic reader
