Josephine Asumbire is a self-motivated and articulate person with 17 years of corporate working experience in the Insurance Industry. Before joining Imperial General Assurance, she was the Head Underwriting/Reinsurance at GLICO General Insurance Co. Ltd. Josephine joined Imperial General Assurance Company in March, 2022 as the Chief Operations Officer.

She started her insurance carrier at SIC as a National Service personnel and rose through the ranks to became a Manager at the Corporate and Special Risks Department in SIC. She has a Master’s Degree in Business Administration (Marketing Option) from GIMPA and a Chartered Insurance Professional from the Chartered Insurance Institute, UK (2009).

Josephine has attended several career and self-development seminars both at local and International level including South Africa, Kenya, Jordan, Zimbabwe and The Gambia.

She has been instrumental in drafting Underwriting Manuals at SIC and GLICO General Insurance. She has also served as a key member on various Committees in her carrier.

She is married with 2 children.

Mr. Osman is a Chartered Accountant and a Fellow of the Association of Certified Chartered Accountants (ACCA), UK. , He also holds a BSc. (Business Administration) degree and an MBA from the Australian Institute of Business (AIB).

He has over 15 years’ experience in Finance and Internal Auditing and was before joining the company in February 2014 a Principal Auditor at Ghana Cocoa Board where he had worked for over 11 years (2003-2014). Prior to being appointed as the Chief Finance Officer, Mr. Osman held the position of the Head of Internal Audit & Inspections at Imperial General Assurance Co. Limited. Mr. Osman has participated in many seminars relating to Finance, Compliance and Audit all over the globe.

Sally is a seasoned HR professional who is passionate about People Management and mentoring the next generation of corporate leaders. She has over 13 years’ experience working for multinational companies both in the mining and oil & gas industries. Before joining Imperial General Assurance, Sally was the HR Manager at Belmet 7 Ltd, where she served for 7years responsible for workforce planning, industrial relations, performance management, compensation & benefits management amongst others.

She has expertise in Recruitment and Staffing, Compensation and Benefits management, Employee Relations, Training & development and Performance Management Sally has excellent interpersonal and communication skills, as well as experience in managing large workforce. She also possesses in-depth knowledge of the Ghana Labour Law, Act 651 2003 and international labour laws and has excellent Knowledge of Human Resource policies and procedures. Sally is proactive and a team player. She possesses skills in critical thinking, oral and written communication, leadership, global/intercultural fluency, and is results-oriented.

As an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Human Resource Management (CIHRM), she holds an MBA in Business Administration (HRM) from the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA) and a product of UCC where she obtained her 1st Degree. In early 2021, Sally received a Certificate of Achievement from the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) for outstanding performance in using the SHRM LMS. She is a member of SHRM and has obtained SHRM-CP.

Reginald is Senior Manager, Business Growth at the Imperial General Assurance Company Limited. Prior to joining Imperial General, Reginald was the Marketing Manager at the International Energy Insurance Company (Ghana) Limited. He also worked for Capita Insurance Services (UK) as a Claims Consultant from 2005 to 2013.

He is a Chartered Insurance Risk Manager of the Chartered Insurance Institute (UK) and has obtained a Risk Management in Insurance and Banking Qualification, from the Institute of Risk Management (UK). He is an old student of Akosombo International, Presbyterian Boys Secondary School Legon, Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, and Lancaster University (UK).

Mr. Kwabena Nyampong Amaning holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Economics and Sociology from University of Cape Coast and a Master of Science in Business Consulting and Enterprise Risk Management from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology. He holds an LLB from the Central University and is an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Insurers, U.K and the Chartered Insurance Institute of Ghana. He has 14 years working experience in the insurance industry in both technical and marketing and is widely acknowledged as a result-oriented person.

Mr. Amaning started his career as a national service person at SIC Insurance Company Ltd. His commitment earned him a retention as a contract staff of the company.

Prior to joining Imperial General Assurance, Kwabena was the Regional Manager for International Energy Insurance (IEI) Co. Ltd for the Tema Region with oversight responsibilities over Eastern and Volta regions. He excelled with his team.

Mr. Amaning joined Imperial General as the Branch Manager of the Spintex Branch and led the Branch’s exceptional performance and achievements. As a team player, Kwabena also contributed for the overall performance of the Imperial General team, ensuring adherence to regulatory and statutory requirements of the NIC. He expanded the agency network and performance from his branch and also raised many leaders through his dedicated knowledge transfer programme.

Being a self-motivated and result oriented person, Mr. Amaning rose to a top management position as the Head of Technical 0perations to lead the technical team of Imperial General, a position he held until March 2022. Currently, he is the Senior Manager,RSME.

Joseph Acheampong Ackon is an Accountant by profession and a practicing Internal Auditor. He holds B.Ed Social Sciences (Accounting and Economics) from the University of Cape Coast and an MSc. Industrial Finance and Investment from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology. He is a member of the Institute of Internal Auditors, Ghana. Joseph also has to his credit several short courses in Insurance, Internal Audit Practice, Leadership, and in Accounting Practice. He has over 17 years working experience in both the Accounting practice and in the Internal Audit practice in Ghana and in Nigeria with about 13 years serving in managerial roles. His wealth of Internal Audit experience spans from sectors such as Manufacturing, Pharmaceutical, Media and Insurance.

Prior to joining Imperial General Assurance, he had worked with several organizations including TV3 Network Ltd. as the Head of Internal Audit and Risk Management Department and was later promoted to the position of Group Head, Internal Audit with the Parent Company of TV3 (Media General Limited). He had also worked with Donewell Insurance Limited as the Head of Audit and Assurance.

His passion for what he does is evident in his career achievements; saving the companies he has worked with from major losses as a result of providing senior management and the Board with useful assurances, insights and advices on governance structure, risk management practices and internal control measures. Mr. Ackon has good analytical and methodological skills and this is obvious in roles he has worked and excelled in. He sees the strengths in every organization and has a unique way of bringing out the best in the organization through his input into management decision making.

Ebo Bronyiaye holds a BEng degree in Computer Engineering from All Nations University. He started his IT career with Prime Insurance and has over 7 years’ experience in the insurance industry. He is highly skilled and knowledgeable in Network and Computer Systems Administration, databases, including securing of open source implementations. Prior to joining Imperial General Assurance, he was the Head of IT at Prime Insurance Ltd.

Ransford is a highly motivated team player and a results-driven insurance marketer with over twenty (20) years of insurance marketing and managerial experience.

He is a chartered insurer from the Chartered Insurance Institute, UK and a member of the Chartered Insurance Institute, Ghana (CIIG). He holds an MSc. in Organisation Development from the University of Cape Coast, MBA in Marketing from the University of Professional Studies and a BSc. in Marketing from the University of Cape Coast.

Ransford started his insurance career in 2002 with Donewell Insurance Company as a marketing officer. In the same year, he was posted to Akim Oda as the Branch Manager.

He subsequently served as the Regional Manager for the Accra East Region from 2009 to 2011.

In January 2012, he joined Nem Insurance as the Head of Marketing and was instrumental in the setting up of two (2) branch offices in Takoradi and Sunyani and six (6) satellite offices in Cape-Coast, Akim Oda, Somanya, Ho, Tamale and Koforidua.

Following the merger between Nem and Regency in 2016, (RegencyNem), Ransford was maintained as Head of Business with key responsibility for branch and agency development.

In July 2018, Ransford joined Heritage Energy Insurance as Head of Business, again with key responsibilities for branch and agency development.

Ransford joined Imperial General Assurance in February 2022 as Head of Special Risk and currently serves as National Agency Manager

Madam Joyce Mensah is an accomplished, results-driven and self-motivated insurer with a little over two decades’ experience in hands on Insurance industry practice. Her area of expertise spans across Underwriting, Risk Assessment and Claims Management.

Prior to joining Imperial General Assurance as the Head of Underwriting, Joyce was the Head of Underwriting at International Energy Insurance Company Limited now the defunct Heritage Energy Insurance Company Limited. She also served on various committees such as the disciplinary committee, Claims Salvage committee, procurement committee and the technical committee. She is a Chartered Insurer with ACII (UK) and is an Associate Member of the Chartered Insurance Institute, Ghana (CIIG).

She is a graduate of the University of Cape Coast with a Bachelor of Education in Psychology and an MBA (Marketing) KNUST, Commonwealth Executive Masters in Business Administration. (KNUST) and Bachelor of Laws, LLB from the Central University.

Joyce Mensah has varied work experience in various fields of work from Accounting Associates (Accounting & Auditing Firm), ANSAK and Associates (TAX Auditors), Internal Revenue Service (IRS) now GRA – Domestic Tax. Her work ethics is underpinned by a commitment to Justice, Integrity and Excellence.

Naa is a dynamic and results-driven salesperson with several years’ experience in the insurance industry. She holds a Master of Business Administration from Coventry University, UK and a Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of Ghana, Legon.

She has over the years, driven revenue growth, developed high-performing sales teams, and implemented strategic initiatives to maximize market penetration.

She is adept at building strong client relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and leveraging data-driven insights to optimize sales performance. Naa is passionate about fostering a culture of excellence to exceed organizational goals.

Stephen is a Senior Manager in the Finance Department. He has over 15 years’ experience in Accounting and Finance spanning Oil and Gas and the non-life Insurance Industry. He is a Chartered Accountant and a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants, Ghana (ICAG) and a graduate of the Premier University of Ghana Business School with an MBA in Finance and a BSc in Administration (Accounting) from the same school. He has further training in Securities from the Ghana Stock Exchange, Accra.

Prior joining Imperial General, Stephen was the Commercial Director of UIS Ltd, a local indigenous Non-Destructive Testing company where he was responsible for managing the accounting ledger and developing pricing modules for the various products and services. He was responsible for all commercial negotiations to ensure that there was value for money in acquisitions and managed all Tax transactions on behalf of the company.

Stephen also worked with BUH Energie Resources Ltd, an industrial maintenance service company as the Commercial Director. He was responsible for project proposals, bid responses, work method statements and successful delivery of services to Oil and Gas Terminals in Tema.

Prior to joining BUH, Stephen was the Executive Director/General Manager of Bayfield Oil Services Ltd. He started as the Finance Manager for the company prior to becoming the General Manager and then finally an Executive Director. He represented Bayfield on the Boards of Joint Venture companies, notable amongst them are Bureau Veritas Oil and Gas Ltd (BV Oil & Gas), Oil Spill Response Ghana Ltd (OSRLGL).

Upon completion of his undergraduate education, Stephen began his career with Sage Distribution (now Sage Ltd, a member of The Quantum Group in Accra.) as an Accounts Officer responsible for customer invoicing, stock reconciliation with National Petroleum Authority, accounts payable and vendor management, Fixed Asset Schedule Management. He was also the accountant of a subsidiary company called Aspen Petroleum Ghana Ltd which re-exported refined petroleum products to the Sahelian region.
