New Head Office opens in Labone, Accra

The new Head Office of Imperial General Assurance was officially opened on 24th October, 2022.
The state-of-the-art building located at No. 10 1st Norla Street, Labone, Accra, was opened at a grand ceremony graced by the Minister of Trade and Industry, Mr. Alan Kyerematen, the Commissioner of the National Insurance Commission (NIC) , Dr. Justice Ofori, Shareholder, Board Members, captains of the insurance industry and other key stakeholders.

In his welcome address, the Managing Director of Imperial General Assurance, Mr. Robert Wugah, said the opening of the Head Office forms part of the Company’s strategic plans to expand its operations and to serve the its clients better.
“As a service company, we consider our office ambience an integral part of our quality service delivery mandate. This edifice will therefore serve as a reminder to all of us here at Imperial that the Client is the focus of our business. We will continue to innovate and improve service delivery to our valued customers,” he assured.
The Trades and Industry Minister charged Imperial General and insurance companies to take advantage of the competitive market in the SME sector to enable them sell their brands and their products and services.
On his part, the NIC boss, Dr. Justice Ofori lauded the achievements of Imperial General and extolled its contribution to the insurance industry and national development as a whole. He added that the company has shown strong performance in asset growth and profitability.
The occasion also received solidarity messages from the Ministry of Finance and Economic Planning, Ghana Insurers Association (GIA) and the Insurance Brokers Association of Ghana (IBAG).
